The Gallery will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 5 for the month of March. Stop on by and see Chris Dentzel's charming gallery space and enjoy the works by Filiberto Lomeli, Thomas Van Stein and me. Our Daily Bread is just across the street. A great spot for soup (the chicken pizole is my favorite) and a sandwich, or coffee and scones.

All the familiar spots in Santa Barbara transform under the full moon. I have painted at Butterfly Beach in Montecito many times. Saw half moon from Ceres Calif at 5:30 @ 6:05 could barely see orange moon. 

Too much fog, then daylight could no longer see moon

From The Edge...

...of the Storm at Butterfly Beach, Santa Barbara.

Day three of the painting workshop found our group at Butterfly Beach as an approaching storm headed towards Santa Barbara. We made the best of it, watching John Budicin create magic on his canvas board. Then we stumbled through our own paintings while shivering and keeping one eye on the incoming squall.
